John Toman is a seasoned Technology Executive, Systems Architect, and Project Manager with over two decades of experience leading large-scale hardware and software implementations across private industry, federal government and public education sectors. As a results-driven leader, he has consistently delivered successful enterprise IT solutions from concept to execution. With a deep focus on cybersecurity, compliance, and operational efficiency, John has built and managed high-performing IT organizations that support rapid growth, secure data environments, and seamless client experiences. His expertise spans IT operations management, enterprise IT strategy, and regulatory compliance, making him a vital force in shaping scalable, secure, and resilient technology ecosystems. 

John most recently served as Vice President of Information Technology at Edlio Inc., a premier SaaS provider for K-12 schools, where he led IT and security operations. His leadership included supporting multiple private equity-backed acquisitions, overseeing compliance with top-tier security frameworks (NIST, PCI, SOC, ISO), and directing cloud payment infrastructure that supports more than 500,000 users. Prior to Edlio, he co-founded and served as CTO of Online School Management Systems, growing the platform to over 6,000 schools before its acquisition in 2019. John holds a master’s degree in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
